Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before downloading or using Textymizer.com (the "Software"). Textymizer.com is available to users worldwide. By downloading, installing, or using the Software, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not download or use the Software.
1. The Software
Textymizer.com is a desktop application that allows users to anonymize information within their own documents. The Free version is provided for testing and personal use, with the features and limitations described on the Textymizer.com website (textymizer.com), including but not limited to file processing limits, daily usage limits, and export limits. The Free version is provided without payment obligations and without guaranteed availability or support.
The Software processes documents locally on the user's own computer. No document content is uploaded to or transmitted to any server operated by Textymizer.com or any third party as part of the anonymization process.
The Software does not provide legal, accounting, tax, compliance, or other professional advice. It is a tool to help you anonymize content you choose to anonymize — the decision of what to hide and the legal adequacy of that decision remain entirely yours.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country of residence (if higher), to download or use the Software. If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of a company or other organization, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
3. License
Subject to these Terms, Textymizer.com grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the Software for your personal or internal business purposes, anywhere in the world, except where prohibited by applicable export control or sanctions laws.
You may not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software, except to the extent permitted by applicable law;
- Redistribute, resell, sublicense, rent, or lease the Software without prior written permission;
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices contained in the Software;
- Use the Software for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
4. Intellectual Property
The Software, including its design, code, graphics, and the Textymizer.com name and logo, is the property of Textymizer.com and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws worldwide. These Terms do not grant you any rights to Textymizer.com's trademarks, logos, or brand features beyond what is expressly stated here.
5. No Warranty
The Software is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Textymizer.com does not warrant that the Software will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or free from harmful components, or that it will meet your specific requirements. You are solely responsible for verifying that the anonymization performed by the Software meets your particular legal, regulatory, or confidentiality requirements before relying on the output or sharing any anonymized document.
Textymizer.com shall have no liability for any loss, corruption, deletion, disclosure, or unintended recovery of data, files, or other information resulting from your use of the Software.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Textymizer.com shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, profits, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Software — including, without limitation, any damages resulting from information that was not successfully anonymized or was disclosed as a result of using the Software.
This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory on which a claim is based (contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise), and even if Textymizer.com has been advised of the possibility of such damages, except where such limitation is not permitted under the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
You acknowledge that you are responsible for reviewing the output of the Software before sharing, publishing, or relying on any anonymized document.
7. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Textymizer.com, its founders, and any associated contributors from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) your use of the Software in a manner not permitted by these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or third-party right; or (d) the content of any document you process using the Software.
8. Your Documents
Textymizer.com does not access, collect, store, or transmit the content of any documents you process using the Software. All processing takes place locally on your device. You remain solely responsible for the content, accuracy, and legality of the documents you process, regardless of where you are located or where the document originates.
9. Updates and Changes
Textymizer.com may update, modify, or discontinue the Software (or any version or feature of it) at any time, with or without notice. These Terms may also be updated from time to time; continued use of the Software after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Termination
Textymizer.com may suspend or terminate your license to use the Software where reasonably necessary, including in cases of abuse, violation of these Terms, or legal requirements. Upon termination, you must stop using the Software and delete any copies in your possession.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If you are a consumer residing in the European Union or another jurisdiction with mandatory local consumer protection laws, nothing in these Terms limits any protection that law grants you, and you may also be entitled to bring proceedings in the courts of your own country of residence.

12. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable under any applicable law, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
